The Guernsey Arts Commission’s performing arts subcommittee has an interesting opportunity and challenge for groups who may be interested in taking over a St Peter Port pier. During Summer 2010, seafront closures are planned over 8 weekends, and the subcommittee is looking for fans of piers who may be interested in taking one over for some kind of performing arts event. It should ideally be something participatory, and preferably something which takes advantage of the space to do something that isn’t otherwise possible.
